![]() Be on the lookout for Red (Taylor’s Version), which drops November 12, 2021. ![]() If you haven’t listened to this heavenly masterpiece, you need to get on board and bless your ears. “Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version)” is a recreation of a song that stole a bunch of music listeners’ hearts. All I can tell you is that “Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version)” is a surprise release that none of us were expecting. So many of us Swifties have been constantly clowning, that we don’t know what’s coming next. Many believe that we could be getting a surprise release of 1989 (Taylor’s Version). With the release of “Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version)”, Swift has sent many of her fans in a spiral. Anyone who is a Swiftie knows that Taylor announced in June that her next rerecording would be the album Red. The surprising thing is that Swift only released it because she saw the original version trending on TikTok. Her ownership of her heartbeat allows for the song to be more beautiful than ever. I think the most emotional aspect of this new version is that Swift now owns her heartbeat. Burnin it down”, paints the picture of the statement just referenced. ![]() With the lyrics “You’ll see me in hindsight, tangled up with me all night. You’re still in the footsteps of someone telling their fling that they’ll regret them, but it feels like you’re experiencing a new version of it. From the beginning of the song, you can tell that Swift has transformed the song into something new. Her stronger voice elevates the lyrics she wrote long ago. Comparing it to its original, this new version shows the growth of Swift’s vocals. This rerecording of “Wildest Dreams” sounds ethereal and somewhat magical. Hearts dropped and some people probably almost fell out of their beds (aka me) when she decided to play with our minds and confuse us. Fast forward seven years later, Swift decided to surprise everyone when she announced the release of “Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version)”, during the waiting period of Red (Taylor’s Version). It’s a pop perfection album that was on repeat throughout middle school. In my opinion, that album is considered a pop masterpiece. If you were anything like me, you quickly got your hands on 1989. It’s 2014 and the awaited first pop album by Taylor Swift just dropped.
